WORCESTERSHIRE BADMINTON ASSOCIATION
The Worcestershire Badminton Association aims to promote the sport of badminton across Worcestershire, organising the local leagues for Ladies Doubles, Open Doubles, Mixed Doubles, Veterans Doubles and our new Combi Doubles. We also support and actively promote our County Senior and Master's Teams who play against other Counties up and down the country at an exceptionally high level!
Where does your county fee go and what do we do?
Our activities are mainly funded by our County Fee*, which is collected by Badminton England for
their members living within Worcestershire. These funds are used to support teams representing
Worcestershire at Junior, Senior and Masters levels. We also support activities to get more people playing the sport in our county, particularly by operating intra-county leagues, running junior
activities and supporting new coaches. All our committee’s and support activities are performed on a voluntary basis.
We aim as a county to offer a competitive but friendly and welcoming environment to play, practice and develop everyone's badminton ability. Through our community of local clubs, leagues and players, we strive for an inclusive environment that produces high quaity badminton!
* Our County Fee is currently £5 per adult, but £0 for juniors.
